1896 - HistoricJudge William Jones House

For many years, Wolf and Harp was known as the Judge William F. Jones property, regardless of its current owner. Its stately presence, combined with Judge Jones’s prominence in the community, left a lasting impression, as he and his family were both the home’s first residents and lived there for many years. In a meaningful gesture, Judge Jones and his wife, Kate, gifted the home to their daughter, Elinor, and her new husband, William, as a wedding gift. Thus, beginning the property’s long connection to love and celebration.

Meet the Owners

DUSTIN & DARREN

Owners Dustin Burnett and Darren Elder bring more than a decade of friendship and creative partnership to Wolf and Harp. Friends and business collaborators for over twelve years, the two share a passion for thoughtful design, meaningful experiences, and hospitality rooted in connection. Darren, a lifelong Maine resident, lives locally with his wife and daughter, while Dustin and his wife and three children divide their time between Maine and Nashville, Tennessee.

Their professional backgrounds in the music industry sparked a shared dream of creating a brick-and-mortar hospitality space. One centered on atmosphere, gathering, and memorable moments. When the historic Pleasant Street Restaurant in Norway, Maine became available, they recognized its potential immediately and embraced the opportunity to reimagine the property as a refined, destination venue.

Throughout 2021, the property underwent extensive renovations and thoughtful expansions. Dustin leads the interior design and guest experience, while Darren oversees the day-to-day operations and property enhancements. Together, their complementary skills and shared vision have shaped Wolf and Harp into a distinctive venue designed to host everything from elegant weddings and large celebrations to intimate, high-end chef dinners - indoors or outdoors, in every season.
